Front-End Developer

Permanent Position | Full-Time | Hybrid

At traperto, we develop learning management systems and digital solutions that enable companies to efficiently manage continuing education, skills development, and training processes. Our platforms are used by companies such as Deichmann, Vodafone, KiK , and Motel One. As a front-end developer, you’ll help design the user interfaces that learners, managers, and administrators use every day to work with our application.

What You'll Be Working On

As part of our front-end team, you’ll make complex features easy to understand, easy to use, and cleanly designed. You’ll continue to develop our Angular application, help design user flows, and ensure that business requirements are translated into intuitive user interfaces. In doing so, you’ll work closely with the back-end team, project management, and the design team, and actively contribute your ideas to product development.

• Development and enhancement of our modern front-end application using Angular

• Designing intuitive, high-performance, and maintainable user interfaces

• Active participation in product development by contributing your own ideas and technical insights

• Consulting with our backend developers to design clean interfaces

• Seamless integration of our applications with backend systems via REST

• Ensuring high code quality through code reviews and automated testing

• Further development of our platform, front-end standards, and internal development processes through constructive feedback and knowledge sharing within the team

What You Bring to the Table

For this position, we are looking for the following skills:

• Several years of experience in web front-end development

• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS

• Ideally, experience with TypeScript, RxJS, and unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

• Experience working with REST APIs

• Using Git Safely

• A clean, organized approach to work and high standards of quality

• Conceptual thinking and the ability to critically evaluate existing solutions

• Excellent German skills and good English skills

• A willingness to further your professional development and actively help shape technical topics
